The use of Sage is for healing. The spiritual act of burning Sage is referred to as Smudging. The smoke is used to bless, cleanse and heal the person or object being smudged. It is said that Sage is used to “wash off” the outside world and rid sacred spaces of negative energies.

Sage can be used during meditation, Yoga, home cleaning, clearing negative energies, etc.
